Outdoor Living
Outdoor living means different things to different people. From a basic patio with a few loungers, to a
fully equipped outdoor kitchen with covered dining space overlooking a swimming pool - the possibilities are
endless.
One of the greatest benefits of having an outside living space is that it extends your home into the garden,
allowing you to enjoy entertaining, barbecuing, or just relaxing in your own private space with the advantage of
the fresh air and natural scenery.
Another very popular use of outdoor living space is to create a water feature. That can be anything
from a small running water feature to a fully equipped Koi carp pond, with a Japanese-style teahouse and Zen
meditation garden.
But for most people, outdoor living means a patio space with a grill and an area to sit and relax. Whether
the grill is a free-standing unit, or part of a natural stone-built kitchen is a matter of personal choice and
budget.
And if the pocketbook can stretch to it, any outdoor living space is enhanced by the addition of a fireplace,
chiminea or fire pit. There's nothing quite like sitting round a fire in the cooler evenings, just kicking back and
watching the stars.
